We invite you to come train with us, but it’s really more like “Come have fun with us”. Its free and there is no minimum criteria. You don’t need to be a professional athlete, just a desire to have fun and learn something new.
Open Water Swimming

Open water swimming can be a little intimidating if you have never done it before, so we help to make it safe and easy for everyone – from beginner through to experienced open water swimmers. We swim together at a pace that the slowest person is comfortable with and stop at the buoys along the way to make sure everyone is OK.
Our regular swims are at Belvidere Jetty but for some variation we also swim from SAN Parks on Thesens Island and near Red Bridge. We also have special Dip n Dop swims on Friday afternoons during summer where everyone (and their partners) are welcome to have a drink and snacks after the swim. Check the calendar to see when and where the next swim is.
Distances: 1,5Km to 2,5Km (If its your first time we can swim a shorter route too)
Where: Belvidere Jetty
What to bring along: swimming goggles and a swimming cap (optional). A swimming buoy is also useful if you have one.
Check the calendar on this page to see dates and times for our swims
Group cycling

We enjoy our cycling and would love you to join us for our weekend fun rides. These are slow paced and usually involve stopping for pancakes along the way. No matter your fitness level or type of bicycle you are welcome to ride with us. If you want to start riding or rekindle your relationship with your bike then the weekend ride is the perfect starting point. The team is always ready to help you out and share tips to make the experience pleasant and fun.
During the week we also do faster rides to Swartvlei Beach if you prefer to do some race training and build up the mileage.
Distances: 40Km to 100Km
Where: We meet at the Waterfront Parking lot for weekend fun rides. Week day rides meet at the Muse traffic lights
What to bring along: your bike (road, gravel or mountain bike), helmet and water bottle.

Running

Running can be fun….especially with us. We are not the fastest, most experienced, die-hard runners and we realise that most people out there fall into the same category and just want to try out running and learn to enjoy something new. Our runs are adjusted to suit the pace of the slowest person in the group…..and it doesn’t matter if that means we walk for parts of the run. Thats how we roll.
There are a number of routes that we run. Most of it is road, but we do gravel runs and a little bit of easy trail running occasionally. Sometimes it’s in the forest and other times along the lagoon or up and down the hills around Knysna. This keeps it interesting, scenic and most of all fun. Most runs are morning runs during the week with a longer run on the weekend.
Distances: 5Km to 22Km
Where: this varies depending on the route. Check the calendar to see the running schedule
What to bring along: your running shoes.
